This included a six month engagement both in the UK and overseas to enable MegaNexus to more fully embrace the methodology.
CSN (Sweden’s Board for Study Support) want to future proof its main application which is written in CA Gen. It is working with Jumar on this major project spanning a number of years, using our unique Jumar MAPS automation. It involves a successive transitions to a service oriented architecture allowing CSN to flexibly replace its legacy applications with a combination of off-the-shelf applications & internally developed systems, thus supporting CSN’s modernisation objectives.

Atos has been a Jumar customer for many years and the two companies have worked closely on a number of important client projects. For example, a recent contract resulted in Jumar providing an Upgrade Assessment of their CA Gen system as well as specialist resources to conduct testing, problem solving and help with upgrade work.
Jumar has worked with Fujitsu since 2007, and is also a global legacy modernisation partner. We have a track record in delivering CA Gen services and resources, including projects for DVLA to provide a more integrated and streamlined public service. Jumar also provides specialist IT resources to Fujitsu across its wider UK business.
As a supplier of legal case management software, Legal Logic Systems required a team of specialist software developers to join its expanding team. As the skills were not in plentiful supply, Jumar proposed an alternative approach to ‘traditional recruitment’. Following an intensive assessment day, during which carefully sourced, appropriately skilled candidates undertook a series of technical and practical tests, LegalLogic filled the initial number of roles, but also made an offer to an additional candidate who impressed on the day.
Jumar worked with Cyta to modernise its internally developed CA Gen systems containing more than 50 mission critical applications. The replatforming sped up data retrieval by 50%, followed by a automated rearchitecture to client/server technology, saving considerable cost. Jumar and Cyta used agile methodology and tools to efficiently deliver ‘green screen’ to web 2.0 project allowing staff to deliver superior customer service. The project won an OutSystems “agilityaward”.
Jumar carried out an upgrade (from CA Gen version 6.5 to 8.0) to budget and within the agreed duration. SoNM now has a fully supported version of CA Gen, with which it can confidently continue to develop and maintain functionality.
Jumar’s relationship with Redware goes back to the very inception of this well-respected training provider for the automotive market. During that time, Jumar has successfully recruited for a number of roles including Test Analyst and SSRS developer. The key to the relationship is very close working with Redware managers to reinforce Jumar’s ethos of consultative working and not as an ‘arms’ length supplier’.
Queensland Government: Department of Transport and Main Roads
Australian government department and mature CA Gen user, DTMR, wanted to engage a single supplier in order to outsource its BAU 3rd Line Support team, along with the ability to provide ad-hoc support for additional CA Gen development services.
Jumar managed the smooth transition from DTMR’s in-house team to the new ‘follow-the-sun’ solution. With high-quality CA Gen resources in both Australia and the UK, DTMR was able to exploit the time zone differences, as its support team adopted a 24-hour approach.
Jumar has been working with the UK’s leading parcel delivery brand to support their permanent recruitment drive. We were able to source resources with niche open source skills, communicate the benefits of a career at DPD, and place them on permanent contracts.
This switch from a contract to a permanent team enabled DPD to reduce costs, and have the stability of permanent resources which they can invest in.
