Thursday, 29th June 2017
Jumar Solutions is celebrating the completion of the first phase of a significant transformation project which has seen an unprecedented increase in staff numbers and the expansion into two prestigious new office spaces.
The IT recruitment and software development specialist has grown its presence in Solihull and Manchester as part of the largest restructuring programme in its history. It is part of an ambitious strategy for long term growth, and follows recent successes in expanding the services it provides to a range of major clients across the Insurance, Financial Services, Facilities Management and Government sectors.
The transformation has already seen a wholesale restructure of the company’s IT recruitment delivery function and has been headed up by experienced Transformation and Change Director, Dave Payne.
In addition to increasing its headcount by a third over the last year, Jumar has moved into a modern new office space near its historic base in Solihull, and signed a three-year lease on modern premises in Manchester’s vibrant Northern Quarter. This will be instrumental in facilitating its further expansion, and the achievement of the company’s strategic aims over the next five years.
Future plans for the company include the establishment of a permanent presence in London and a transformation of its software development division to complement the successful change programme within the recruitment function.
This second phase of transformation gets underway this month, with Dave Payne beginning the initial requirements definition stage of the programme.
Managing Director, Wendy Merricks, says “Jumar has grown organically and by word-of-mouth throughout its successful 17-year history. This major programme of change is already accelerating new business growth over the coming five years, while enabling us to provide a more efficient and streamlined service to our existing clients.”
Dave Payne, Transformation Director, says “The last eight months have seen a raft of simultaneous changes happening in the recruitment area of the business, and Jumar now has a stable and scalable structure on which to build its future expansion. The office moves – particularly the re-focussing of the business from the outskirts to the centre of Manchester – are pivotal in positioning Jumar effectively for the next five years."
