QA/Test Analyst (VAC183) (Permanent) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a QA/Test Analyst to join a fast-paced team within a leading software solutions company in the West Midlands. To be considered for this position you will need to have gained a minimum of 3 years practical testing experience, ideally within a software house environment, along with a proven track record of completing testing to a high standard, and within timescales. You will have gained practical experience of Quality Centre and automated testing, with knowledge of all aspects of software testing along with a good understanding of software development methodologies. Main responsibilities include: Working closely with BAs and Developers to fully understand the business and functional requirements Create and maintain test plans, scripts and other test documentation Execute test plans in accordance with the testing schedule Record test results and participate in the analysis of those results Provide relevant project feedback on a day to day basis. Working closely with line management in formalising and implementing changes to improve processes You will have gained experience in the following areas: ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing or similar Educated to degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline Driven, energetic and enthusiastic with a can do, will do approach Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
