Java Developer (VAC161) (Contract) Are you a J2EE Developer with strong Weblogic experience who is seeking your next contract within the Shropshire area? If so this could be the contract for you! My client is seeking a J2EE Developer who will be responsible for supporting the application aspects of multiple live services, management of live incidents, investigation of incidents and provision of resolutions. You shall also have involvement in live incidents escalated via other support teams, co-ordination with new projects to gain an understanding of live support requirements. The role will also include collection of adhoc statistics, housekeeping on live services, database creation & maintenance of support documentation, attend live support and customer meetings, enhancement suggestions through change proposals / CIPs and Trouble Tickets and technical Advice with support to other areas. Technical Skills that shall be required: Must have at least 3 years + BEA Weblogic and have used versions 9, 9.2 & 10. J2SE (2 Years+), J2EE, JUnit, UML, OOAD, XML processing and transformation, JMS, JDBC, EJB, Ant, Unix, PLSQL, Oracle 10g (Oracle 9 considered), Rational Software Architect use of Rational ClearCase.
