CA Gen/Cool:Gen Developer (VAC127) (Contract) Location: Australia (ACT and NSW) Duration: 6 months Salary: Negotiable The Role: This is an exciting opportunity to work for an Australian Government Agency that requires an experienced CA Gen/Cool:Gen Developer. The Requirements: The successful candidate will have at least three years CA Gen/Cool:Gen experience plus recent hands on experience with the development of PRADs and CABs in a CICS/DB2 mainframe environment. Other requirements include: • Analysis, design and programming of large systems using CA Gen/Cool:Gen • Experience with COBOL • Component based development • CSE Access • JCL and batch programming • DB2 and SQL performance tooling • Enterprise Architect (desirable) • Microsoft Office Other skills include: • well developed communications skills • an excellent ability to read, comprehend and write technical material • negotiation and liaison skills • presentation skills • Proven ability to work effectively as an individual, as a mentor and a team member to tight timescales.
