Wendy Merricks’ career spans over 20 years in the IT industry with some of the leading IT Solutions companies in the UK, including Computer Power, IMI Computing and Software Knowledge.

Her strong sales and marketing background has established many long-term relationships with major blue chip organisations such as NFU Mutual, Capgemini, BBC, Shell International, Sainsburys Homebase, Experian and Jaguar Cars. She played a significant role in developing the business during her ten years at Software Knowledge, generating over £9million worth of revenue per annum.  A testament to her philosophy of building strong customer relationships is the number of clients, including Rolls Royce, EDS and NFU, who have followed her as she has moved through her career.

Wendy established Jumar Solutions in 1999 and, together with a committed and loyal team, has subsequently increased the turnover of Jumar from £200,000 in its first year to over £5million today. 

In her role as Managing Director, Wendy’s aim is to continue the steady growth of the business and increase its client portfolio based on building strong customer relationships. Her focus will be to remain committed to the company’s vision and future strategy and to support her fellow Directors in building on the strengths of the Solutions arm of the business. 

Wendy also plans to continue developing partner relationships, an area that is becoming of increasingly important to Jumar as it expands its products and solutions business internationally.
